Easter Worship

Greetings! Our Easter worship schedule for visitors is as follows:

7:00 AM – Sunrise Service in the Garden

This sunrise service will take place in our Memorial Garden. Enter the church through the front doors on Oakland Avenue, and an usher will guide you to the Garden.

8:30 AM – The Holy Eucharist, Rite I

A traditional Anglican mass, according to The Book of Common Prayer. This is a quiet yet joy-filled early service, without the “smells and bells.” Admirers of the Cranmerian form—what is sometimes called “King James’ English”—will be especially drawn to this style of Eastertide worship.

10:00 AM – The Holy Eucharist, Rite II

A contemporary language mass, with music, choir, incense, and bells, according to The Book of Common Prayer. At the 10:00 Easter mass, we pull out all the stops, as it were. This service is an especially good one if you are accompanied by children and babies, though they are of course welcome at any and all services. After mass, younger and older children will be invited to join in an outdoor egg hunt on the church grounds.
