Child care for infants and toddlers is provided Sunday mornings from 8:15 until 11:45. The nursery, located near the back entrance to the lower level, is staffed by two paid care-givers. The nursery provides our very youngest members with a safe and clean place to play, or rest, while their parents are in church. Children may be brought up to church by their parents for a blessing at the communion.
"Train a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not turn away."
Proverbs 22:6
The mission of Saint Paul's formation program is to introduce children to the scriptures, the liturgy, and music of the Episcopal Church.
The children of Saint Paul’s attend and participate in the Holy Eucharist with their parents, and then join their peers in their formation class. The formation classes use the developmentally appropriate and child friendly curriculum, "Living the Good News." This series is based upon the Scripture readings appointed for the day, otherwise know as the "lectionary." This format provides for family sharing, life-long learning, and community building as we live our baptismal vows.

The Journey to Adulthood (J2A) is a complete youth ministry program of spiritual formation for 6th - 12th grades. It uses Bible study, prayer, rites of passage, outreach ministries and both serious and playful activities to underscore its core messages:
1) Manhood and womanhood are free gifts from God.
2) Adulthood must be earned.
Groups meet on Sunday morning at 9:30 am. The Journey to Adulthood Program is in its 9th year at Saint Paul's.

Education for Ministry, or EFM, is a theological study group which meets once a week during the program year, on Monday evenings from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. The course is a four-year study program from the University of the South at Sewanee. For more information on EFM contact Whitney Chandor at 215-598-0313.
Since 1982, the Thursday Morning Bible Study has been an ongoing opportunity for Adult Christian Education. The group meets in the Miller Conference Room at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday mornings and finishes in time for the noonday Mass in the chapel. The pace of study is leisurely; covering as much as one or more chapters, or as little as a few verses which trigger a lively discussion.
Adults of the parish have several options for meeting with others to read, study, discuss, and grow in knowledge and practice of the faith. A Wednesday Evening Christian Formation class is the baseline for establishing an overall knowledge as preparation for Baptism, Confirmation, Reaffirmation of Faith, or Reception into the Church. A Sunday morning Adult formation class meets twice a month at 10:10 a.m.
During coffee hours on Sunday mornings, the congregation is able to borrow from the 700 volumes now available in the library located in Paxson Hall.
The library also has a "book basket" where people may donate books they no longer want.
