Pledge Update:
89 Pledges received as of 2/4/2010 for $219,478

If every pledge was increased $5/week we would be very close to balancing the 2010 budget. The Vestry is asking parishioners to prayerfully consider how they might increase their 2010 pledge. Please notify the Treasurer with any changes: in writing or by email to finance@stpaulsdoylestown.org. 2010 Pledge Forms are available at the tract rack.

Thank You for helping to make this possible!
Parish Stewardship 2010
At our recent annual parish meeting, the idea of stewardship as an extended or ongoing effort was mentioned. We invite all interested parishioners of St. Paul’s to join the Stewardship Committee and give us the benefit of your input on the caring use of our many blessings. Please contact Pastor Chris, John Canterbury (215-348-0196) or Jill Dulany (215-491-5909) to join the discussion of how we can communicate both our blessings and our needs as a parish family.
Please give special prayers for the following parishioners and the members of their families:
Janet McGill Louise Nelson
Ed Sturtevant Carole Beard
Edward Perkins Anne Wagner
Marilyn Canterbury Doreen Stagg
Joyce & Sam Palermo’s nephew, Thomas
Tom Smith’s daughter, Kelyn
Lorna Ludvik Fred Paiste
Jan Garrigan
SAINT PAUL’S SOCIAL TEAMS
The St. Paul’s Social teams have been a wonderful addition to our efforts to build community together. Last year they planned picnics, helped the social committee throw parties, fed local families Thanksgiving dinners and supplied needy kids with back to school supplies. We will be holding our reorganizational meeting for the teams between services on February 14th, so plan to stay late or come early to participate. It’s your Valentine’s gift to the church you love!
For those new to our congregation, you have also joined one of the “houses” that are the basis for our teams. The houses have been rearranged this year, so all please take note; (colors remain the same): Those with last names from A to “Cauller” are on “Team One” (blue); those with last names from Chen to Frentzen form the “T@2” team (Purple); from Frister – Jackson form the “Pumpkin Heads” (orange); last names from Johnson to McNamara form the “Summer Sunshine” squad (green); those names between Mills and Smerkanich form the Busy Bees (yellow (and black?); those with names Smith to the end of the alphabet form the “Red Dog” pack (red).
This is a great chance to work with a new group of folks from our church family, have some fun, and share the love we are given. See you all on Feb 14th!
(Contact Steve Rubenstein with questions).
